The Louisiana Fiscal Transparency Website
During the Second Extraordinary Session of 2018, SB 13 by Senator Rick Ward required the reporting of state expenditures through the fiscal transparency website. The result was Louisiana Checkbook, where tax payers can see where their tax dollars are being spent. Data for all state agencies is expected to be input into the portal by Fall of 2021.
